Paul, They are very easy to make your own - Paul Russell has written some easy to follow instructions which are in the projects and articles section under astrophotography. I just cut a mask out of an old cardboard box and it works a treat.
I agree with Peter, I made my own for about 50 cents and a hour in labour
if that. There is nothing to it, the only thing you have to decide is the shape
of the holes... I used 2 triangles cut into mine. It isn't rocket science,
meaning there is no mathmatical equation that needs to be done for it to
work properly.
