Skywatcher EQ3 Syscan Goto Upgrade Kit - Installation problem

Hi, I bought a Skywatcher SW500 recently with an EQ3-2 mount and the Syscan Goto Upgrade Kit. The problem is that the one page instruction sheet supplied does not explain how to attach the motors to the mount, only how to install the hand controller. But I am not sure how to actually fit the motors and there is nothing on the Skywatcher website for the EQ3. The instructions for the EQ5 are different. All the bits supplied are quite baffling to me and I'm not that stupid (eg. 2 cogs - where do they go?)
Please, if anyone can help at all I would be appreciative.
I have been back to the shop where it was sold and the guy sent me here (how's that for after sales service???)

Instruction sheet for Synscan

Sorry, here is the one page instruction sheet on the EQ3 Synscan installation. http://www.telescopesa.za.org/sky%20...to_eq3_eq5.htm
As you can see, totally inadequate as they assume the motors are already in place on the mount.

Hi dluth,
Wish I could help you more than this...
Only thing I could find to guide you is a pic of the EQ3 GoTo from the Bintel website (see attached) It shows how the motor upgrades sit on the mount housing. Perhaps approach Bintel for some advice, Don Whiteman there is very helpful.
Skywatcher support pages have downloadable manuals, may be something there

All the best

Thanks for your help...that pic you pointed me to alerted me to the fact that the Synscan I had was for an EQ5 mount - no wonder it was impossible to connect it. I ended up taking it back to the shop where I bought it and got them to attach the EQ3 Synscan which they helpfully did.
