Blue Sky

Well after 6 hours of virtually non stop rain and 21 mm in the last hour it has stopped, the clouds are breaking up and there's blue stuff every where. Normally one would be mildly optimistic but and there's always a but.

A) the jetstream is right above me.

B) it's just about a full moon.

C) the weather charts show yet more cloud approaching.

Still, it was nice to get excited even if it was for a little while.

It's just one big tease. As soon as you see a break in the weather, and the optimism kicks in, it all goes to hell.

I did get to see Saturn for a short spell this evening. Wasn't all that clear, like there was just a faint layer of cloud in front of it. And given all the cloud lately, I'll take what I can get.

Well this morning is a complete reversal, no wind, no rain and no cloud. I've just been sitting outside having a morning cuppa and enjoying blue sky and bright sunshine.

I'm even getting a bit excited about the possibility of a clear night.

I don't think I'll check the weather reports just yet, I don't want to ruin the moment.
