The Sculptor Galaxy NGC253

Hi Guys,

Took this last week when we had some clear skies. consist of 10 x 7 minutes exposure at ISO 400 with the canon 350D baader mod. Probably my last one for the season as i can't image west at all due to my neighbours huge tree.

Yes well done. Using a filter is interesting too, normally they dut too much light but the LPS 2 allows enough through, it also enhances the red nebulae throughout the galaxy as well.

That is a tremendous image! You have captured very fine detail, and nice colours. 253 is a great target

It has a really nice 3D effect. Looks like its hanging in space (I suppose it is in reality). Very nice work.

A visually pleasing image Eric. Looks a little too dark on my monitor. Be careful of black clipping - it appears to be present.
