Sorry for the storms ;)

My new Panoptic turned up today and look at the storms in the mountains!! It almost makes you think twice about the next addition to the collection - I did say ALMOST

Which Pan did you get?

While I miss seeing the night sky, I am almost always keen for more rain so keep on buying that glorious Astro gear!

I got the 19mm, been saving for quite a while. Hopefully, when I have enough money for the next eyepiece we will need a good drop of rain again

Well the clouds lifted last night and I finally got the new baby out and was disappointed I spent quite a while checking collimation and comparing with other eyepieces till I finally tweaked to the cause. In my hurry to have a look I didn't give the scope time to cool to ambient. The views after about an hour were absolutely brilliant...... definitely happy now
