The eyepiece is cosmetically challenged in that there are a few marks on the body, mostly near the top, from impact. They were there when I bought it off the previous owner. The eyepiece is in perfect condition optically, ie no glass (optical) scratches.
The 22 Panoptic works wonderfully on a f/5 reflector or refractor. You only get that with Tele Vue and Pentax XL eyepieces. Other "budget wide fields" will have coma or astigmatism at the edges. The apparent field of view is 68 degrees. This eyepiece works in both a 1 1/4'' and a 2'' focusser so you can get to use it in your little refractor if you want.

Just put the word out and you'll get flooded with offers to come to some dark secluded space on the pretense of looking at eyepieces, but will actually be about checkin' out the size of each others scopes.
