Skywatcher Equinoxs available in NZ

The range of Equinoxs is available now in N.Z. and are 'reasonably' priced. The Equinoxs are the top of the range Synta versions with dual speed 360 degree adjustable Crayford focuser and upgraded assembly and finish. They come in the black gloss paint [ fingerprints !]. The Equinox ED80 is $A1000 and the ED120 at $A3450 - which seems especially inexpensive compared to the 'basic' Orion ED120 which is listed at Bintel at $A4700.[I am not associated to any scope maker in anyway- just for your info.]

AUD$1000 for an ED80? What does it come with? Is that on a mount as well?

Interesting, 500mm FL instead of the normal 80mm @ 600mm FL.

Oh and Aluminium carry case too? Cool.
I also like the focuser..

Dual-Speed machined Crayford focuser.
360-degree adjustable for easy framing of objects for photography.
Graduated scale on drawtube for fast and precise focusing with CCD or DSLR cameras

OTA prices [as is the Bintel price for the Orion ED120]. They have the FPL-53 glass. 'Similar' to W.O. telescopes but they do not have the FPL-53 glass.
