Asteroid (m.p.) 1 Ceres, 8-9 Nov 07

Montage showing movement of Ceres between 8 & 9 Nov (just each side of opposition, mag approx 6.9). Have posted bits of this elsewhere on IIS, but thought I should put it here complete .

Canon 400D on tripod, 18mm in 18-55mm kit lens, stacks of 15-sec subs taken at ISO 1600, F/3.5.

Thanks all! As far as comet Holmes goes..... . I'm at 37 degrees south, and live in a 'bowl' surrounded by hills . I wish!
