My Favourite Toucam Pics

I can't image with my new DSI yet coz the weather won't play fair, so I have been going through all my old (well, almost old ) Toucam Images.

I have selected a few of my favourites just for old times sake, and thought I'd post them in here to encourage anyone else thinking of getting into Modified Toucam imaging.

All these images were taken with an ED80, SC1 Modified Toucam, captured in 'Desire', stacked in Registax 3, then finished of in PhotoShop CS.

Thanks Rob,

Yeah, theToucam does a great job for something that was designed to be a webcam!

The Toucam has certainly placed itself in history as a great Lunar/Planetary imager, but not a lot of DSO work is done with the modified versions. Most are used as Autoguiding cameras (which mine has now been relegated to), which is a pity because they are probably the simplest DSO camera to use.

The processing is an art all on its own, but capture certainly is a matter of just 'Click Here'.

Ken that toucam you have to keep as an momentum.

A very nice collection Ken. Definitely a testament to your skill with the Toucam.

I have a modified toucam on order which should arrive Monday.
I should be able to knock out pics like that by the end of the week.
How hard can it be?

I declined to go down the modded Toucam path, but now I wish I had!

Crikey Ken, there's some nice detail there.
