World Cup Rugby 2007
Well I might as well start this thread if no one else is going to.
We have a great night of Rugby the original sport of nations.
I think the Wallabies should easily flog Japan, but we'll have to
wait and see. I think they have a couple of ex AB's in that side
now.
They put the All Black match on at 1:45am tomorrow morning
the scundrals, even though it has already started. But again
they shouldn't have too much bother with Italy.
Good luck to Both teams, hope to see you in the finals
hey didn't the French looked pissed this morning, it was almost
as good as watching the ALL Black's flog the Wallabies

yes it was Argentina's day today - the wobblies had better flog Japan by a huge margin - anything closer than 30 and they should be taken out and severely spanked!!!

I won't be watching it tonight.
The Rugby League finals are on FoxSports at 1am and 2:30am
Otherwise I'd be watching

Hi All,
Yep looking forward to tonight's game though it will be a flogging. Japan's second-string team will need 80 points head-start to even get close.
The Italians will probably need that much too -v- the Blacks.
The really serious business really starts after the group stage.
The Wallabies can win. The forward pack is good and can hold their own on their best days. There are enough points in the outside backs to equal or better any other team in the world.
However, if we are to win or go close George Gregan will have to do more than just look hesitant, take a step back from the ruck and pass. He can kick, he can run but has become too predictable in the last few years. This is where much of our attack has been shut down. When at his best -- running, kicking and passing, we can do it.
Also, Stephen Larkham will have to rediscover that ability he has to simply walk through the opposing inside backs -- he has to run more with the ball.
The Blacks, man for man have the best team in world rugby. They deserve favouritism, but their form based on previous world cup is a shocker (I just thought it was a good time to remind the Kiwi's out there of that fact).
Yeah, the Frogs really did look pissed-(off). I'd be embarrased too!
Go Gold!

I think it's about time they extended the tri-nation and brought
Argentina into it. I've wanted that for a long time they have
performed moderately well for a long time. Bringing them into
the fold would push them up a gear. but distance is a problem.

91 - 3 win over Japan. Don't know how Japan managed those 3 points, perhaps the Wallabies are slipping.

congrats to the Wallabies on a good result. they turn a lot of ball over in
the first quarter. Fitness carried them through, posting a 91 to 3 win.

The important minnow match was the US versus England...
The screaming eagles made a game of it with only an 18 point loss (England 28 to the US 10) to the defending world champs...
Watch out...this minnow has been getting bigger.
Oh and cheers to Argentina too!
