Exclamation SOLD - : 13mm WideScan III eyepiece (84 degree FOV!) - PRICE REDUCED plus a bonus!

The 13mm WideScan III is sometimes called ‘the poor man’s Nagler’ and in slower focal ratio scopes - particularly SCTs and Maksutov-Cassegrains (eg. Meade ETX) - comes surprisingly close to the acclaimed ‘spacewalk’ benchmark (albeit with a fractionally wider field of view!) For an expert’s opinion, check out Tom Trusock’s detailed Cloudy Nights review of WideScan eyepieces at http://www.cloudynights.com/documents/widescans.pdf

Manufactured in the high precision optical workshops of Japan’s Kokusai Kohki, the eyepiece features multi-coated, edge blackened lenses for maximum contrast to compliment the immersive field of view. With its 1.25” barrel and weight of just 120gr, this little gem won’t cause balance issues even in smaller telescopes.

In superb condition, complete with end caps and original box, for $175 including careful packing and insured, registered postage to anywhere in Australia. Inquiries by PM, please.

But wait, there's more: I'll also include a brand new set of stainless steel steak knives and forks, just the thing for the barbie! You'll need to be quick though - I only have one of these great eyepieces to sell, so it's first in, best dressed! Get it now or regret it tomorrow!

Thanks for looking (and hopefully smiling)

There's been no response to the PM that I sent to qld, so the 13mm WideScan III eyepiece is still available.
