Help locating star.

Any ideas on locating the following star -

12h14m.21.85s63.A17'41.46"

A friend asked me if I knew where to look to see it. Can't find any references to it anywhere. I'm not even sure if it's enough info. Closest I could find was somewhere near HR 4662, but nothing was exact.

it could read a number of ways.

Is that
63 deg 17 min 46 sec
or 63 dec 17.46 min
or 63 deg 0 min 17.46 sec

Not sure. Thats how the information was given to me. Obviously more info is required then. Ill see if I can find out a bit more. I think they got a star dedicated to someone they know and would like to view it or at least know where it is. I'm guessing it's a fairly low magnitude star.

reads like: 12h 14' 21.85" 63deg 17" 41.46".

If you go north and south with the declination it gives you the following star fields attached. sadly no exact matches with the coords given - close but no precise match. (Skyview gives coords as you hover overt he pic it produces centred on the coords you give it.)

It would help to know what epoch to use for the co-ordinates ie J2000? B1950 etc????

Using J2000, the nearest star to those co-ordinates appears to be:

USNO A2_0225_13675350 at V_Mag 14.3 at:
Ra 12 14 22.9947
Dec S63 17 45.990

However, GSC 08978 01170 at mag 12.9 is located:
Ra 12 14 20.208
Dec S63 17 21.58

and USNO A2_0225_13670847 at V_Mag 13.4 is located at:
Ra 12 14 18.3020
Dec S63 17 32.760

Cheers
