Thanks everyone for your ideas.

Yep did that one a few times Mikey. Sometime she work, sometime she don't.

I think however I may have the sucker beaten now thanks to some pmed adviced from DeanoNZL. Yes it was a DNS problem. I don't know how it happened, but I had my old ISP primary and secondary DNS in my network tcp/ip. I don't know how I managed to connect at all.

But I'm back online and I know how to fix the sucker next time. Dynamite!!!

I tried to get a post on the whirlpool forum. Unfortunately I wasn't able to access my email to register as a user. Catch 22 really

It will be. When my message box starts to get full I download the whole lot as a text file and save it for posterity.
