some more d40 goodness

1: a marco shot

2: log with softened focus (used manual focus). i like this effect

3: tree taken with a manually focused 50mm f1.4 sigma lens... i dont know why, but it appeals to me

took these wondering around the top of our hill. not far to cows from there

must look extra blurry to you mike

thanks for the compliment. wasnt sure how the soft focus ones would take to be honest... bit too artistic?

hmm... i might stay clear of soft focus from now on
it was fun and i like the look but no one on ausphotography does.

i dont know, it has... something about it that i like
people like sharp as a tack so thats what they are getting

I like it David - what do the others know?

I really do like your middle one - the barbed wire/wooden post in the grass. Is that what it is? Very nice colouring.
