Jerry certainly knows his stuff and if it's anything like his previous book (which was actually a CD ROM as is this one) it will be full of very useful information.

Personally I prefer a real book and found it hard to read sitting at the computer all the time. I ended up just printing out the pages that I wanted to read.

I have it and can recommend it. Full of useful info on equipment, colour theory and image processing. It helps to print the whole thing off (preferably at work if you can manage--it's quite long) and ring bind in sections, but it is also good to use it on the computer, because of the "mouse over" before and after comparisons of the images.

It's a good one, Ken.

Being a beginner's guide, there's some stuff in there you'll already be familiar with, but plenty of other stuff you most likely won't.

Even the stuff you already pretty much know is explained a little more, so you gain a slightly better understanding IYKWIM

There's plenty of stuff in there about modded ToUcams as well. So, I think you'd enjoy it

Looks good by what I have read (I read all the attached links).

I'll try find it in Oz before I send off to overseas.

EDIT: Yep, Bintel have it
