Wanted: 70-80x500 achromat

Wanted: A 70mm or 80mmx 500mm achromat OTA. Wanted primarily for the front lens therefore the OTA and focusser can be damaged. Dont want finder scope.
Needs to be reasonably cheap.

Try giving Roger Davis at Bintel Melbourne a call. He has lots of telscope bits and pieces. Good chance he will have an objective that would suit your needs.

I have an old tasco 60mm that you are welcome to Allan. No scope, just the lens and threaded lens cell and dew shield.

Thank you so much for your generous offer. The lens arrived safely on friday and I will be testing it out ASAP to see if I can get my idea to work. Ill keep you informed, but again thanks for your generosity.
