There are no overhead powerlines or electric cables near your set-up?

You haven't got any other electrical devices near your toucam?

Other than that, I'm out of ideas, sorry.

hard call--can we have something with the best of both?

seriously though I wonder if its just wavelets causing those lines or something else..it almost looks like a FITS image which hasn't been converted to RGB..but of course that cant be the case here
very strange
but nice shot anyway

Do you remember how many frames you stacked for the second image with the hard wavelets?

You'll need more frames to push the wavelets harder.

Try for somewhere between 300 and 400 frames if you're pushing the wavelets quite hard.

i think it may have been up near 700 frames matty... its not a lack of frames
maybe i need less frames? each has about the same amount of frames tho.

the second one i had the waves of the top middle and bottom sliders push halfwayish. the first about 1/5 to 1/4

Then I'm pretty sure it's something you're doing in Registax but without knowing the exact details of your processing routine I can't offer any further suggestions.

Good luck
