Had another go at M-83, results herewith, this is 4 x 10 Min. Exp. at ISO-800 with DF removed, using the LX200-10" at F-10, guided, there is a bit of error in the guiding due wind, The colour is untouched, looking at AAO and other Pix. on the Web I note that most Pix. show this object as a Blue Hue, with some red stars (these are BIG scopes) not what I get, but maybe due to not enough light getting to the Camera with this high F-ratio.
Jim, how are you focusing ?.
As it still is a little out of focus.
You have all that detail and its being hindered by focusing. Great exposure, with what seems to be good detail that is washed out a little.
Possible switch over you imaging times, and do 10 x 4 minutes next time to remove the guide errors.
Your S/N ratio will be as good too with multiple images.

Many thanks for all the comments, and Fred that sharpened things up a bit, yes the Focus is a bit of a problem at F-10, but looked good, I feel that guiding is the problem, im using an ED80 + MX7C, a bigger guidescope would help, I did better on NGC-5128 (Pix. attd.) for some reason even though its about the same RA/Dec (approx.), trying.

Many thanks for all your comments, and yes, guiding/alignment was the problem, I sat at the scope/mount for a couple of hours last night and found that the drift (N-S) was a bit out of limits, so adjusted the mount to compensate, if its not spot on the guiding does a bit more work and shows up in F-10 Pix., also long exposures overhead show up the misalignment even though short ones (10 Min.) dont, a series of Pix. taken cannot be combined (aligned) as the stars in each successive pix. will be displaced by the drift, always something.
