Well, I've missed the clearest night in Sydney for a while now and I am kind of bummed about that...
But, I did survive a birthday party for my now 6 year old son which included an astounding 23 kids all aged 6 years old or less...
You are crazy, you might be thinking and you would be right...I don't think I'll do anything like that again!
We had a "sporting" theme and ran the kids hard with several relay races (sack race etc.), tug of war and an obsacle course. I am sure that there are many tired kids...I know I am!
Anyway, I'm sure that there will be other clear nights but not another 6th birthday party for my youngest son, so I would not trade the experience for either of us.
Well, I'm flying out early for another overseas trip...take care all and continued clear skies!

I agree your only 6 yr once not one to miss,I was out viewing early on until the idiots hmm, I mean neighbours lit there fire,God only knows what there burning I know whatever it is, it's not legal,the smell and the smoke is hanging around and blocked out the sky,it was such a good clear sky ah well at least I have the FA cup to watch
