Yes it is. This image was taken with astro_south's Dob (12.5" F6)
We used a 2x barlow in his 12.5" which is equivalent to using a 3x barlow in my 8" Dob. I usually shoot with a 2x barlow on the 8", so this image is 50% larger than my usual work.

Thanks. If only it was my Dob. It was a lot easier with two people doing the work. astro_south was steering his Dob while I controlled the laptop. Actually I shouldn't say 'easier', I should say it was slightly less frustrating with two people.
