NOW FOUND Wanted: Right angle finder for Pentax KX

A right angle finder to suit my Pentax KX SLR. Anyone have one they don't want any more? PM me details and price. Thanks for considering. Eric

Hi Erick

I have one for my 1976 Pentax KM (I am keeping mine) but a couple of weeks ago, I saw a 2nd hand one in a photo shop in Brisbane, going for around $100.

Would you like me to look in the shop when I am next in the City?

I also understand that the Olympus vari-magnifier works with the KM (and therefore I presume K & KX).

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Dennis, I thought I'd try here before I tried out a recommended place in Melbourne:- http://www.cameraexchange.com.au/web/home.php

So if nothing available from ICETRADE (), I'll try the Camera Exchange next. After that, I may take you up on your offer. Many thanks. Eric

G'Day Erick,

I tried to find one for my Minolta and the genuine one was close to 350 bucks and they're quite rare since Minolta arent making much stuff anymore, i purchased a cheaper version to try for about $85 Aus from URGalaxy in Melbourne through ebay and it fits well, the field of view looks ok although i havent been able to try it on the stars yet! I do notice a slight bit of distortion at the edges but only minor from what i can see and wont affect the performance.....the finder comes with adaptors for all types of cameras.
As long as the eyepiece has the rectangular finder it should fit......
Check it out on ebay!

Cheers!

2nd hand RA Finder for the Pentax has gone

Hi Eric

Whilst in Brisbane today, I had a look in Ted's cameras and the 2nd hand RA Finder for the Pentax had gone.

Cheers

Thanks. Leon has one for me and it'll be in the post soon - the genuine Pentax article. Thanks to Leon and everyone else.

That was quick! ICETRADE is great!
