Got some pix of the unit?
What quality are the rings?
Do you have an extension tube to go with it?

for Darren

The rings are the "stock cast black aluminiom" that one gets from local dealers.
I will dig out a photo which will show the rings in place.
I do not have any extension tubes for sale.
Regards Gerald.

Focal length is 800mm, or is there one to many 0's?
These are traditionally 600mm focal length I thought.

Yes, the ED80 has an 80mm aperture, and focal length of 600mm, producing an f/ratio of 7.5

Attn members. I have just sent an email to Gerald asking him to contact me. I understand that Gerald has been quite ill recently. So please bear with me while I try to get some answers to you questions.

Hi everyone, I've been told that the seller has been unwell and therefore won't have been able to attend to this recently. No idea of when this may change, so maybe we should leave this thread alone until Gerald is hopefully able to update it. Otherwise it'll just keep filling up with the same question of whether the scope is still for sale.

No wonder my last post took so long to load - 1ponders was hogging it.

Hope the news on Gerald's health is good.

Yes, Gerald went in to hospital a couple of weeks ago - right after he posted the 120mm refractor that I purchased from him to me. I understand that he was in there for the week.

Get well soon Gerald.
