My Best M16 Eagle Nebula

Hi Guys,

This was also taken on Sunday night early morning around 3:30am ish right next to the moon. Just sqeezed in sometime tonight to process it.

11 x 5 minutes exposure at ISO 400. darks/flats subtracted. noise ratio seem to be much better than the unmodded 350d.

equipment C10 f4.7 with 300d modified on EQ6. autoguided ED80 F7.5 with meade DSI II.

Great stuff Eric, it's always nice to see "my best ever" shots from everyone. Great to see everyone improving.

I notice a lot of compression artifacts in both images - have you changed your method?

thanks guys for your reply. hi mike, i use ps2 to convert to 8bit mode then save as .jpg under 150kb size?
@ steve, not for this one but will sure use the method
