Why Is?

Twice now I've been on GW threads and find then arbitrarily closed at about 185 posts. The last shut down was just getting interesting.

Why is it that at such a low level of posts a thread is closed?

I've had a thread running for a year here on the topic of GW:

http://forums.astronomydaily.com/vie...t=4509&start=0

This topic is too complex to just be given a close out.

We were just getting into Solar System warming.

Being a newbie here I wonder about censorship.

Hi John.
I felt the discussion had stalemated. Yes there was a bit of new activity but mostly the same arguments from the same few people. Your only posts here have been about GW and when the discussion dies down and takes a natural attrition like all threads do, you bump it up to keep it going.

It's nothing to do with censorship. It's just to keep topics fresh and interesting.

Threads asking why a thread was locked also get locked, sorry. Please PM me if you wish to discuss it further.
