Jupiter this morning, Mar 1, 2007

Got up and it was cloudy, 45 mins more sleep and another look out the window and cloud had cleared. Poor seeing initially at 3/10, but kept at it and then got a window of about 10 mins as dawn broke where things settled down enough to get 1 avi with seeing at 6/10.

Standard process in Registax, Astra Image and Photoshop with 300 frames split into R, G, B and processed.

Hope others got out there this morning.

Enjoy!

John.

Another lovely image, John! There appears to be some slight colour misalignment which should be easily corrected.

Nice job! Too much fog for me this morning, but hopefully tomorrow i'll be out amongst clear skies and a high Jupiter.

Hi Mike, typical early morning blues I'm afraid. Lets try again shall we. Very subtle difference from my part, so have a go at it as well if you like.

Very nice John - thanks for reminding me what Jupiter looks like. Excellent detail with quite a lot of activity on the disc.

Cheers

Dennis

Great to see someone is not completely clouded out. Now I remember what Jupiter looks like
