Some may be aware that I have sent off my canon350D to get a cooler and mod done to it. As a result upon its return I will be parting with my canon 300D.
It is a fantastic camera that will come with 3 batteries and charger and a 240 volt battery converter for those all night sessions, there is no lens only body only. It has been modified for H alpha optimisation and had the Russian hack with mirror lockup. There is software with it too. This camera took all my deepsky shots at Duckadang last year, and performs really well. I have spent about $250 for the accessories of batteries and power cables and $350 to get particles removed from the inside of the sensor after the original modification and autofocus adjusted, particles were shaken out in transit from the original owner. The images below are after this fix.
A 256meg CF card will be included.
The body is a bit rough, but it was like that when I bought it originally from an IIS member who loved their astrophotography. Don't let that worry you, the guts of the camera works really well as you can see.
This is an excellent camera to get into astrophotography.
Postage is not included, I am looking for $1000.00. BTW it now costs $550 to get your camera modded now. Please remember this camera will not be available until after I receive my other one back from overseas (hopefully end of march), I will post images of the camera later
