Canon 300D, Medium Fine quality, Prime focus HD-102 EQ refractor , f/10, ISO800, 1/640 exp. Cropped and Greyscaled and saved for web in PS

Nice shots Paul.. I got some afocal shots of my own, with my digicam.. Won't get time to process them until tomorrow or Tuesday, but they look ok so far.

You should process them more (sharpen etc), there's some good detail in those shots!

hehe, its waay better than mine - i think mine got that orangey tinge to it because i took it about 25mins aftyer the eclipse started

Here's the eclipse as seen from Warrnambool.I've done a ' during & after' series.The image on the left is just after it finished.Taken with the Nikon D100 attached to a Nikkor 300mm lens @ 200iso.800th sec shutter speed @ f:5.6.Processed in Photoshop 6http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../Penumbral.jpg

1ponders well done. You got a great photo. I spoilt mine, 125 speed but kept it constant throughout whole eclipse until peak time. You guy's took some excellent photos. i over exposed mine in the end, but it does show the "dimmer"area.

I took this one of the moon at about 6pm when the eclipse was just starting. but I got some great shots with the local bats flying around.

also to hide a bad photo, distance is a great saviour, this one was taken at about 7.55pm
