Thumbs up First Animation for 2007 - Jupiter 14th Feb

Hi all

Here's the animation of 14 images taken on the 14th February.

The seeing was about average for most of them, with about 2-3 frames being significantly sharper than the rest.

All 14 images processed identically, and the animation was created in Jasc Software "Animation Shop 3".

Scope and camera: 12" newt on EQ6, DMK21AF04 + 5x powermate.

Click on the link below to view the animated gif (650k gif):

Jupiter Animation - 14th February 2007

Thanks for looking.

Very nice animation Mike. The image scale from the 12" is very impressive.

Cheers

Nice one Mike. Boy, your animation really shows up some of the changes since the apparition.

Nice work, Mike.

I love these animations, and yours shows great consistency in overall appearance (brightness, contrast etc) through all the frames.

It's gonna look amazing when Jupiter is better placed and you get some top-notch seeing
