i'll still be there, weather permitting.
my friend and his wife can't make it. ironically she started work about a week ago and someone/somehow broke her foot. so Shane has to stay home and look after his wife.
hmm. maybe i'll bring a chair this time

I'm trying really hard Ron but every time I try it rains on me. I think at this rate I will be calling you late saturday morning for a weather report.
Hope to see you then. Cheers.

Hey Ron,
If it's no good for tomorrow, what about next saturday the 24th? The new moon will only be a thin waxing and should set early (I am at work and dont have access to a chart so dont know exact times) so it could still be a good evening. What are your thoughts on this? If you are happy maybe everyone could re-schedule if possible and still make a good night of it?
Dennis.

Dennis, the Moon is First Quarter on the 24th, and sets at 23:00 , but will set about a quarter of an hour earlier here, What do you think?:

The weather is not looking good for this weekend.... Maybe the 24th would be a better option for us all?

I think I will be out of the running for this weekend Both work and the dodgey weather.
I will be heading out to Leyburn next month and will be meeting up with the IIS guys from around Casino who are tripping up. Since Ron's it out, perhaps some of you might be interested in coming out there. I will post a seperate thread about this at a later date, but something to think about.

I wouldn't write off the weather just yet - there is still hope that the clouds will partly clear for tomorrow night.
and a mini-Astrofest in March at Leyburn sounds good....
