NGC 2451 in Puppis

Hi all,

Captured this gorgeous cluster, somewhat enshrined in diffuse nebulosity last weekend.

Read and view here.

Warning: file is approximately 1.45 MB in size.

As always, comments and critique welcome.

Beautiful image of a stunning field. Excellent technique - composition, focus, processing, guiding etc all spot on, to produce such a wonderful celestial portrait.

Cheers

Nice. Again you have good colour range and detail.

You seem to have got the recipe right and are now being able to real off shot after shot that turn out great, congrats. I remember what that was like, back before I messed up my recipe for good images

Ric,

Thanks, mate. I thought I'd image something whilst the Moon was up before I moved on to my main target, which is yet to come.

Top stuff Humayun,
the Borg 125ED looks like it does a very nice job with handling CA.
Like the effects from the brighter stars.
Is this the effect of the night or is it surrounding nebulosity ??

Lovely fov.

thanks for sharing

Rich
