What do you do when the binoculars are too high?

The other day, while McNaught was still visible, I went to Brighton and took our neighbour and his son for a look. After setting up the binoculars at a suitable height, we found that they were a little too high for his son. So I came up with a novel way of getting something for him to stand on!
