Nice one mate!

'bout time you saw the light - you will have to use the force to find what you are looking for now, but at least it will be a lot quiter (apart from the oh's and ah's when you look through the eyepiece). To ease the transition I would suggest you record a CD of buzz-whirr-click sequences and play this (loud of course) when starhopping from one object to the next for the first few months of use, after which it can be slowly phased out.

Are you going to give it the Argo Navis treatment, or do you want me to send you some star charts? Are we going to see it at Astrofest this year?

yes the AN will be fitted and no, duckadang will be an imaging trip for me, so eq6 etc in tow, but if I have room, well......
