Wow, a little red and white plane just crashed into the ground in an open padock just down the road from my place......boy I hope the pilot was ok.
Lots of police etc down there and a media Heli.......
again I hope the pilot is ok......
Have you noticed that when a airplane has some sort of problem it is in the news. Yet a car full of kids can wrap itself around a tree and it may not make the local paper. Why is that? This air accident may involve just the private owner.
Is this just me...?
If your name is not known to the world your car wreck can be a very low news item... but if you force land in a paddock ... you will be on the teli....
I have heard nothing since......
I assume the pilot must have walked away.
The plane was gone when I came home latter that afternoon.
Probly took it back to the airport back across the road.
Anyway good luck to him or her, I bet christmas is special for them this year!!
I hope those involved get out okay.
