Sky Transparency!

Due to the fact that there are bushfires burning around Piliga way and west of the range i have been experiencing really badly polluted skies here over the last couple of weeks, yesterday the daytime transparency was really bad, i'd say 3/10.....was really milky white, almost cirrus cloud-like, and the sunshine on the ground was a slight orangy colour...
The ambient temp here was 33 degrees C.

Observing has been out of the question!

Anyone else have this problem!?
