I'll bring along 14mm & 10mm XW's + 20mm t5.
Yup Graham, she was a lil nippy 3:30am this morning, almost put a fire on.
Looking quite nice out here tonight, got the scope cooling, coffee brewing.
It be about the second or third time I've been out since you guys were here.
Glen I'll head over to your place around sundown. I'll have to check back
through the threads on how to get to your place. Looking forward to
spending sometime with your GSO 12" dob. Never really checked one out
before, I'm sure I've probably looked through one up at Astrofest.
Anyways I'll see you guy's tomorrow.
regards,CS sunny days

I dont think we did through Glen's scope. Just the 14mm and the Nagler.
Just come in, we have a bit of clou coming through from the south west. I've
tarped everything as I will dont he usual and be up between 3-4am, get a
look at M42 when it's higher, and a gander at Saturn amoung other things.
Will check in tomorrow arvo as well.
Cheers, c'ya's tomorrow

Those eyepieces are great.
Bring a list of things you want to see, if you like.
I will have a laptop connected to an old very faint CRT monitor.
You can use my 10" & 12" dobs.
Sunset is 7:20, astro twilight ends at 8:50pm.
I suggest you come sometime between those two.

Nice blue sky, no clouds, some smoke to the south but it's not a problem.

Good to hear Graham, wish I could have made it. But the missus needed the
car and I had to look after the kids. I didn't bother trying last night, too
smoky out this way, although it cleared a bit to the south later. Looked like
a reasonable size fire towards Coraki.
Glen, did Andrew (aka, astro_south) get a hold of you, he was keen on a
quick trip south of the border last night.
Could be keen on a get together next Friday night, if you guy's are up to it.
There will be a three day old moon out and about for the first part. What
do you guy's think.

maybe from me , I have to go to brisbane to pick up a boat sometime
your scope does sure pick up a lot more glen, its not as obvious without
the 10" to compare , but from home last night that small galaxy
in andomeda near the star (400?) was just visible in mine
and clearly in yours.

Rob,
I got onto Glen, but after getting off the phone, time got away from me and I had to decide that it would be too much of a rush to get packed and down there before dark.
I will see how I am travelling for Friday, but I am sure we are doing something Saturday morning which will require me to be here Sounds like last Saturday night was great - always the way.
