Rob, that's not bad from the light polluted skies of Brisbane, especially with a DSLR. You certainly put in the hours on this one and it has shown some nice detail in the core for you efforts. Well done!
That's a lovely image, Rob. I share those light-polluted Brisvegas skies with you and know how challenging it can be to get solid images without any filters. The 6 hours integration time has certainly helped as has your great processing which has brought out the nice colour in the arms. Perhaps a tweak of the saturation might help colours a little more but that's just personal taste. Well done, and thanks for sharing. Alex

Thanks Michael. I probably would need more data to get more of the outer arms, but I think I am at my limit stacking 6 hours of 45sec to 60sec lights (no filter)
Thanks Alex. I did try more saturations and convoluted processing, but eventually settled on a simple processing.
