Selling my first automated observatory - the small but mighty Nexdome 2.2m
This is a 5 year old observatory, so the wheels are a little sun faded in places, but otherwise the PVC construction means its otherwise as delivered by Sidereal way back then.
This dome includes one "expansion bay" for laptop, gear and there is some damage to the flashing that near two of teh screw holes, nothing serious, but wanting to mention for the sake of completeness.
I've made a few minor modifications, specifically 12 & 14mm glands fitted for drainage of the dehumidifier and cabling for weather stations - you can always put a blanking panel in their place.
Fully automated with the original Nexdome motors for both rotation and the shutter - drivers for INDI and ASCOM both available.
So there are a few bumps and dints, in consideration of that, and given this would come to over $12K new, I've listed it at $5K, ex-Melbourne, already dismantled ready for collection from Williamstown, Victoria.
(note: you'll need a small trailer or van, you might get away with an SUV but I expect it would take two trips)
