Your 5min touch sure exposes more data that I was scared to pull out. - Thank you as always on the tip.
I still have the masters and even the project so on a rainy day I will reattempt.

Just a note on my 5min reprocess in Startools , this software is totally different from conventional traditional Astro processing software, it actively tracks your data from start to finish , there’s no support marks or histogram stretches with levels and curves etc.. it has your back all the way along when you use each module and each module takes control of signal and noise. When you jump from module to module you don’t have to worry what you did before as it time travels back and forth. There’s no hacks or kludges !!!
When I applied the AutoDev stretch it just knew what to do to control the core brightness and overall dynamic range , all I did was throttle the Gamma to what level I thought was enough to expose detail. Default Gamma is 1.0 , I set it to 0.70 and your original image was way down at 0.50 way too dark.
Anyway I hope you can get similar or better results from your preferred software as the data is of a high quality and the image is top notch too.
Good Luck
Martin
