NGC4038 NGC4039 Antennae Galaxy

Just to add a little variety, NGC4038 NGC4039 Antennae Galaxy. These two colliding Galaxies where taken at Boronia where the light pollution is getting so bad, I can bloody near read a book in the backyard at midnight.

Peter really nicely done. Lots of lovey detail and those tails have shown up really nicely for shooting in such a light polluted spot. Great stuff!

Thanks Dave, getting those Tails out is not easy, I'm thinking that I should fire up the C11 Edge with its x0.77 reducer, to get a little more light gathering power.

Hi Chris,
I had to go right down to the floor boards to get those Antenae out. It is about the best I can do at Boronia, next year I will try my new Dark Site, hoperfully get a bit better image.

Hi Graham,
It is one of my favorites since I came across it Hartung's Astronomical Objects for Southern Telescopes.
