The New Nagler Type 7

Hello There

When I have the play money and if the reviews are good the 14mm might just happen for my collection.

Oh look nice, hopefully their performance is as good as stated.
The 14 or 9 should complement my 22nagler

Great to see Televue releasing a new line of eyepieces for us visual lovers.

The 14mm is looking mighty tempting!

Surely not Greg!
They are only a 1.25” eyepiece with an adapter

The 19mm and 14mm are 2" only eyepieces.
The 9mm and 5.5mm are 1.25"/2.0" eyepieces.

Thanks Don.

Looking at the current prices it looks like prices for these would be around the $1,000-$1,500 band.

That's my guess. The poor Aussie exchange rate is not helping either.

Greg.

I think Don's estimate is overly optimistic. But to be fair that guess was made back in February and prices on Televue products have increased since then.

Currently Bintel lists the 22mm Type 4 for $1,070, 16mm $820 and the 13mm $750. The Type 7's are all listed for available to order for $1,310, but I don't think that's exact price. But I think it's now safe to assume they will be well over $1,000, and the $1,310 figure by Bintel is probably within the ballpark.

When you add those extra fees, the price should be about $1,200. Note, the conversion rate charged by the payment method is not as good as the market rate.
