Askar D2 filters

Has anyone used this filter and provide some feedback on it or even compared it to the cheaper C2

Also having a look online, seems impossible to find one locally in Aus

Are there any equivalents that work as well?

I would like to try it and combine a couple nights of imagine, one night with my HA/OIII and the next with the SI/OIII

I bought a C2 filter through AliExpress. It's the S2/O3 version and the cheaper option. My plan was to also use my Optaling L-Enhance with similar bandwidth so as to get more O3 in my images and a bit less Green.

I have had limited opportunity to really test this filter but what I have done has been quite satisfactory. I have yet to try a SHO or similar processing - mainly because limited clear sky time for the past 6 months but I remain hopeful. The Qld Astrofest is coming up in May/June and I hope the remedy this then.

I'd be interested to read your thoughts once you have used it a few times Peter

Not precisely relative to your filter question John but I've bought quite a lot from Aliexpress including 2 ball head mounts and one gear head and not had any problems and a lot of electronics.
I did buy a set of maybe polarised filters for different stages of the moon from SVBony and they are very good for the money, plus oIII from Aliexpress from memory (or some other thing) and it too is good.

Hopefully you won't be disappointed. As with most sites, check the feedback of the seller.
As I mentioned, I saved decent money and ended up with a few good filters. Yes, when that lotto comes in I'll buy better but for now....
