My First Galaxy

When I was very young I used to dream of taking astro shots and my fantasy was getting a picture of another galaxy.

Back then there was no digital, just film, so I never really thought I'd get to do it.

Fast forward into the 21st century and it happened.

Congratulations on your first Galaxy image , a fine effort
Well done !!
You should be able to clean up that noise with more data and some processing.
I’ve been trying to finish off the same galaxy since mid February as the skies haven’t been too kind in Sydney lately. Tonight is looking ok ( late ) and maybe tomorrow night in the wee hours.
