My new observatory

After moving from Wattle Ponds and a roll off roof, I have now pegged out my new observatory which is a sky shed 3xl pod which I got secondhand from the Central Coast. I will add photos when can work out how to do it

When you want to add photos if you go to your post, click "Edit" and select "go advanced" and if you scroll down you will see in a lower box under your original text a button (box) "Manage attachments"
If you select this you can then either search your PC and upload images or drag and drop your images.
Images can be a total of 200KB (yes, KB) and each post allows you to upload a maximum of 8 images. If you want to include more than 8 images simply post under your original post (another separate post).

Hi All, well the installation has begun on my new observatory after a lot researching to install it on concert or a deck but after talking to SkyShed they reminded me that they were made to go straight on the ground and so that is where it is going .Thank Leo on telling how to put photos on iceinspace it has been a long time in doing it

Are you putting a pier in?
Is the tree to the left of the skypod going to be an issue?
I'm glad you got the photos sorted, it took me ages when I first tried.

Hi Leo yes, I will be putting a pier in it will be offset to allow for Meridien flip also I will be concrete the floor an as far as the tree it is blocking a streetlight. The tree will only be blocking my NW/NNW the rest of the sky are good I even have a north sky which I never had at my old place

I have a big tree out the front that partially blocks a brighter than the sun street LED light, I always double check it's within my path if I plonk mount or camera tripod down anywhere in the back yard, no fixed address as of yet, one day.
I've often wondered whether shade cloth on two poles in the yard may do a similar thing but haven't looked into it, just because I can't see the light ducking down doesn't mean my camera won't get it interfering.
It's going to be a nice set up when you get it all finished!

he Central Coast.[/QUOTE] Hi All well between the rain and all most a month of babysitting I have final got back to erecting my Observatory. After getting the walls up I started to dig inside to put a concert floor in but every time I went outside to start digging it would started to rain, so in the end I am putting the dome on at least I can get inside to dig it out without everything getting wet.
