That’s beautiful Steve. The fine detail you’ve revealed has really given the galaxy a very 3d appearance. Excellent colour and not over processed. Great work!

Very nice indeed Steve.
That Ha filter has given you some lovely red nebula colors too.
I would prefer to see a bit of noise in the dark background.

cheers
Allan

Steve,
A fine image of the Sculptor or Silver Coin or Caroline’s Galaxy
The Ha has definitely exposed some nice colour and detail
Any reason why you didn’t gather some Luminance data ?

Well done !!

Martin

GDay fellas appreciate the thumbs up. Dave I tend to always over sharpen..I refrained a tad. Love them bright and sharp. I tried it though...but deleted after having a gander on astrobin.
alpal, 2nd go using my reflector I use for viewing only. The flats were a shocker. They rid the OAG halo but as I only took one set of flats the rubbish came through on combination. I could not get rid of it In PI. So, I used a solid colour in PS. I could have used the noise generator in PI..I cannot manage a flat in RGB. NB seem fine.
Martin, mate no Lum as it was getting too low and then this moon. Will be behind the trees in my backyard next new moon so I gave them the miss completely.

ooh I like that!

The Ha and star forming areas look like a bushfire.

Greg.

I looked at your image again. It’s a beauty and from the south coast too! You’re a neighbour.
