I Now Enjoy Using My EQ Mount

Hello There

I purchased the SkyTee II mount out of frustration using the Orion SkyView Pro EQ mount. What I was doing is moving the scope with my hands to red dot target the object. That is very very difficult. Learned this evening to get the red dot close as possible and then motion control knob my way from there.

This evenings targets using my Celestron 150mm F8 achromatic was the Moon, Saturn, and Jupiter. The highlight of the evening was Ganymede's transition. Really enjoyed Ganymede right at the edge of Jupiter.
Unfortunately the max mag I could get with my SvBony 7-21 zoom is 150.

A quality 2x barlow will fix short falls in magnification for you. I owned a 150mm f/8 refractor in the past and found the Baader fringe killer filter improved contrast on the moon and planets. Enjoy your scope.
