Saxon (Skywatcher) NEQ-6 Pro with Rowan Belt mod & QHY Polemaster

Reposting my Saxon (Skywatcher) NEQ-6 Pro mount after sale fell through. It's fitted with Rowan belt modification and a QHY Polemaster. Comes with it's Goto controller, 10kg of counter weights and counter weight extention bar. Has been used as my mount for a fully automated Skywatcher Esprit 120 setup which it handled no problems.

Asking $1,200 - postage paid by purchaser, or pickup from Bunbury WA. Can deliver to Perth if required.

Problems?

Hi there.
1. Does it have ANY problems at all?
2. What have you replaced it with?
3. How much would it be to post/frieght it to 3763?

Interested as I have stripped the threads in one of my AZ control screws on my NEQ6 Pro.

Hi Starry

Only "prob" is (like you) a stripped threat on one of the M6 base bolts but I've got around this by having a thread insert which gives grip to that bolt in the thread.

Not replacing the mount with anything as I'm taking a break from astrophotos while I focus on some house renos - keeping my scope but selling everything else until I get back into the hobby in a few years.

Freight from SWest WA to east coast is bad >$1,000 hence why I think I'll struggle to sell this setup.

Cheers!

Update

Thanks. Do you mean the screws on the legs? I’m really only interested in the main body of the mount. Don’t need weights, leads, handset, tripod. Are you willing to separate? If so, without weights and tripod, the post/frieght should be significantly less.

Starry

Screw below the mount head - anyway I'd prefer to sell the lot because the market for random bits of a NEQ6 mount will be almost nil, so looks like it might be a no-go on this one, eh?

Cheers

No Problemo

No Problemo as I’ve ordered an M10 Thread insert to repair the thread that was stripped in the mount. Good luck with the sale.
