We've had some nice crisp unusually dry nights and I managed to grab some late morning frames without being harassed by the dew.
I've done the ol' rig shuffle now so this will have to do, this time.
I love the little galaxies that pop out at this FL.

I love a good helix and this is great! Those commetary knots are starting to poke through and nice extension through the faint eyebrows. I very much prefer the broadband colours and detail that comes through for this target. Good stuff!
Maaaaaate that is superb and amount of detail inside the eye is staggering ... all those knots and associated fingers/filaments. Do you have a hi-res version somewhere online? I was going to ask if it was NB or BB or a blend of both but it seems its BB only - I didn't even know that was possible for the Helix and its now something I can aspire to. Not every thing needs to be imaged using mono! Thanks for the inspiration ;-) Alex
Cheers Alex, the full res is on lightbucket
The 3.75um pixels at 2000mm gives massive oversampling where a quick bin x2 brings it back to vaguely reasonable.
