Saxon ED 100 900mm Refractor built into mount with JMI focusser and Hyperion 21mm. Supplied with flat base but can supply home made tripod or table if preferred. This was a pair of binoculars - hence the slightly odd design. A 3.1" adjustable diagonal is mounted in the box. The scope can be moved backwards to accommodate a binoviewer if you have one. Balance point is a little too far back but rather than modify the bearings/box I tried some adjustable shock cord as a counter balance - this worked surprisingly well so I left the altitude bearings where they were. If you move the scope back to accommodate a binoviewer, it should balance nicely without the shock cord. Bearings are teflon buttons that glide nicely on alloy / formica bearing surfaces. Optics are in excellent condition. Inspect and pick up in Ballarat, Central Vic. A reasonably compact, smooth and easy to use package. $800
