20th Jan Solar images.

20th Jan. A clear day but a rough atmosphere made it difficult to image the sun well. The first image is at 540 nm to show the sunspots. The dominant regions are AR 3190 and AR 3192.
The other 3 images are at Halpha wavelength (656 nm) to show the chromospheric features.
All images are single exposures with a Canon 550d.

Good images John. The seeing here was absolutely brutal this morning but there is so much to observe we still spent a couple of hours. Most of it we have deleted but it was great to see
