Sun images from Melbourne 9 November 2022

Another good sunny morning in Melbourne. It was a little windy and as usual Meteoblue's seeing figures bore no semblance to reality but the seeing was better than in recent times. The combination of AR3141 and AR3140 continue to be the main show.

Full disk Ha image taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.

Close up image taken with K102, Solar Scout Quark and ASI178MM.

Hi Peter and Clare.
Please excuse my asking, but I have been wracking my brain and googling without success what a K102 is? Is it a Kson 102mm?

Absolutely no problems asking Ken. You are correct, it is the Kson 102. It's correct designation is Kson A102G. Apologies for our shorthand but that's just for our convenience in our observation log and images.
